              Today I write about what I get skill in writing class. I feel this class is cool and amazing! First, for me, it is surprise to use computer to write an English blog as homework. This is great system for me. Due to this I can get into a habit of writing sentence in English every week. And I can learn much from reading other person’s blog, for example, vocabulary, and grammar, how to write good sentences and so on. Comments also help my writing English skills because they demand ability to make a summary. Second ten minutes writing gives me technique how to write paragraph frequency. I could not write a lot of words during ten minutes for the first time. But the more I write paragraph, the earlier I write paragraph. To my disappointment, ten minutes writing was given less than ten times. Third I learn how to combine sets of simple sentences to make more complex sentences with a text book. Although this textbook isn’t so difficult for me, I could a lot of information about good sentence. It also helped me to recall what I studied in the past. In conclusion, these three made me improve my English writing skills much.

            Next semester, I want to learn about natural English writing for native foreign people who speaks English. I think my English level is not so low, but my English isn’t natural. Some say that it doesn’t matter that foreign people can understand what we say. I agree this idea too. But I also want to use English naturally. So next semester, I hope a class to get this skill. And I want to read English sentences in the present age. It is difficult for me to try it alone. But, in class, if I have any question, I can ask about it.

blog#7 Spring vacation

 

Hello, everyone. Today, I talk about my plan during spring vacation. I have four things to do. First I get driver’s license. After this semester, I will go to driving school near my house for two or three weeks. To tell the truth, I want to get it by a camp that is used for training. But I won’t be able to do due to its financial circumstances. Second I will go to my brother’s house in Niigata. My brother is a college student and he is boarding by himself. Three years have passed since he went there. But I have never been there. So I decide to go before my brother graduate from his college. Third I will have to get ready for a ceremony of welcome for new students. I belong to the magic circle so I must practice. My circle has acted since last October. So we want a lot of new student to enter my circle. Finally I plan a trip in March. Many friends of mine failed in entrance examination last year. But I think this year all of them can pass. If they can do, we will travel in Japan. During spring vacation I will be busy but I expect these experience make me bigger. Thank you for reading. Have a good time!!

blog#6 free topic (Is a smart phone necessary for me?)

              A smart phone is unnecessary for me. Is your cellular phone a smart phone or a feature phone? I have a feature phone now. Recently, many people have carry a smart phone. A lot of mobile operators encourage us to enter into a mobile contract. A TV commercial is a familiar example. It accelerated the increase of a smart phone user. But I won’t change my one to a smart phone.

 

First, a smart phone have a lot of applications. I am satisfied with using only call and mail. I think even a camera isn’t necessary. In my case, I always use mail and occasionally call. But I have booted up camera few times since I bought my phone used now.

Second, a smart phone causes dependence on the Internet for users. In fact, this is regarded as a big problem to use a smart phone. Some TV programs often take up this problem. The worst point of it is to destroy human relations. We can find the news caused by this problem easily. Unfortunately, some people were killed in getting involved in an incident.

These two reasons show me that a smart phone have a harmful influence on me.

 
 

 

blog#5 If I could have dinner with one person...

Hello, every one. Today I talk about someone I would like to have dinner with.  

If I could have dinner with someone, I would choose a writer named Miyazawa Kenji. I respect him as a writer. When I was elementary school student, I read his novels every day. His sentences are simple but they are beautiful and has many message. All of his works make me think about world and get a new viewpoint. Meeting his books was a turning point for me.

Next I talk about where to eat with him. I want to have dinner in Hanamaki. There is his hometown in Iwate. He was born and raised there. And he loves there very much. In his works, Hanamaki is written as a utopia called “Ihatovo”. But I have never been there. By all means, I want to take dinner with him and be taught about Hanamaki by him.

Finally I explain what to eat. In his lifetime, he spent self-sufficient life and he was a vegetarian because of his daily life. But he love tenpurasoba and chicken nanban before he became a vegetarian. So I want to eat these two with him. I also like tenpurasoba and chicken nanban.

 
 
 

blog#4 My winter vacation

Happy New Year! How is your winter vacation? Do you have a good time? Today I talk about my winter vacation.

December 28, I went to Osaka to see a movie with my junior high school day’s friend. The movie is “KAGUYAHIME no MONOGATARI”. It is studio juburi’s latest work. I and my friend were filled with joyful expectation and the movie fell short of our expectations. In Japan, TAKETORIMONOGATARI is the most famous science-fiction story. This work is not only along the original faithfully but also given an original interpretation by Takahata Isao. So we were not bored during about two hours. On our way home, we gave our impression of the movie each other. My friend said,” If I had enough money, I would go to see it again”. Just an aside, he is a student who failed entrance exam last year. I had thought seeing this movie as a diversion to my friend. So I was glad that he had a great time.

December 30, I met my high school friends for the first time in a year. They seemed to get familiar to new life in a new school. We spoke recent conditions one another. After that, we went to Round 1 to play spo-cha. And then we enjoy playing soccer, badminton, 3 on 3, table tennis and so on. Especially we were completely absorbed in playing billiards. We didn’t know the exact rules but created our own rules. I little regretted that I could not win the first prize in the end.

January 1, New Year’s Day, I was at home. Every year, I am. No one comes my house. My family goes nowhere. This is our way to spend New Year’s Day. My house was full of silence and quiet. But I don’t dislike this way. We are busy day after day. So I think we should spend the first day of year quietly.

blog#3 My favorite place

Hello, everyone. Today, I will explain my favorite place. First, it goes without saying that it is a bookstore. Already you know, I love reading books. So, for me, a bookstore is an earthly paradise. I always go there when I have a free time. For example, Maruzen & Junkudo umedaten. It is a big building and have a lot of kind books near Osaka station. If you go there, you can find some books which you want to get. And I also recommend you to go Kinokuniya under Hankyu Osaka station. This store is not bigger than Maruzen & Junkudo. But if you go this store, you are able to understand the current trend of books easily.

Second, I talk about Seseragi. Seseragi is a small stream in English. My hometown has a mountain called Iimoriyama. There is Seseragi halfway up the mountain. I sometimes visit here. I like to walk absent-mindedly along the stream. Fresh air and sounds of water current makes me relaxing. There is also children’s playground. They are very friendly and energetic. I am given power to live by spending time with them. After I went to Seseragi, I usually feel a little physical fatigue and much satisfaction.

 
 

 

blog # 2: If I had ¥100,000,000...

If I had ¥100,000,000, I had three things that I want to do.

First, I would like travel abroad. I have never left Japan. So I want to visit various countries and to see a lot of beautiful view which we can always see in the books and websites. For example, Niagara River and Falls, Angel Falls, Remarkable Rocks, Salar de Uyuni, Huacachina etc. These scenery are good to see on picture. But, you know, how beautiful to see these directly!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second, I feel like going through journey into space. Do you know we can experience by paying much money? This project is started next year. The cost comes \25,000,000. Time is less than 4 minutes. But you will be able to undergo zero gravity and see the earth from space. I believe this is so fantastic and marvelous.

           Though these two things make me happy, I don’t intend to use the total amount. I mean to contribute the money left over to build schools to teach literacy and numeracy. There are many children who cannot read and write. If you read my blog #1, you know I like reading books. So I want them to know the pleasure of reading books.
